Our heavy-duty PVC polyester tarpaulin noise barrier is a professional temporary sound insulation solution for construction, demolition, road maintenance and municipal engineering.

Two fabric weights are available: 650GSM (0.5mm) and 1100GSM (0.9mm), corresponding to STC 12 and STC 18 sound insulation grades respectively. All materials pass full SGS laboratory tests based on ASTM E90-23 acoustic standard and BS 5867-2 flame retardant standard, delivering stable, reliable noise reduction for outdoor high-noise job sites.The lightweight 650GSM PVC tarpaulin (0.61kg/m²) reaches STC 12, ideal for short-term small construction projects with basic noise blocking demands. The thickened 1100GSM PVC knife tarpaulin (1.11kg/m², 0.9mm) achieves STC 18, offering outstanding transmission loss across 100–5000Hz frequency range, perfectly for long-term urban construction near residential zones, schools and hospitals.

How PVC Tarpaulin Noise Barrier Works

This sound barrier is made of dual PVC coating plus dense polyester mesh scrim. Outer PVC layer reflects sound waves, the middle high-tenacity polyester core dissipates sound energy via flexible vibration damping, and inner PVC layer blocks residual noise penetration. Loud construction noise is cut down sharply to create a quiet area.

Installation

Each panel is supplied with reinforced eyelets along the perimeter at flexible spacing options. Use zip ties, cables, or hooks to quickly and securely attach the barriers to scaffolding, chain-link fences, and custom support structures. Overlap panels to minimize noise leaks.

Packing & Transportation
